World's Strangest Desserts
World’s Strangest Desserts
Though desserts seem to be the most sweet, delicious food everyone loves, there are some desserts that will simply freak you out. Most people’s opinion on desserts is that they are lovely and all desserts are great as long as they are desserts. But that’s not completely true. There are indeed strange desserts in this world. Some of these desserts may not surprise you, but I’m sure there is one that will make you view desserts and people a little differently.
These are some of the World’s Strangest Desserts.
· Nitrogen Ice Cream (Manila, Philippines) – A fresh cream batter that is frozen with liquid nitrogen in front of guests. This ice cream comes in unusual flavors such as rose and lavender.
· Sultan’s Golden Cake (Istanbul, Turkey) – A cake that looks like a bar of gold. This cake is made of 24-karat edible gold flakes and it takes 72 hours to prepare, must be very expensive!
· Deep-Fried Candy Bars (Scotland) - As simple as the name is, this is a candy bar that has been fried, probably double the amount of calories!
· Green Dysentery (Taipei, Taiwan) - This is totally a dessert to cringe for. This is made in the shape of a dropping (When you go to the toilet); I wouldn’t be too sure about this one.
· Wasabi Ice Cream (Japan) - This ice cream is made of the wasabi plant. Wasabi is best known to be used when eating sushi, definitely not a typical ice cream flavor.
Maybe you could give them a try, they may be better than we think. These bizarre desserts must have been made from someone who was very bored. Now you most likely don’t think desserts are the best. Maybe this will help us to become healthier human beings. These are totally some of the World’s Strangest Desserts.
